CUBA VISA

When you apply for a Cuba Tourist Card, you must have the following:

  • A Cuba Visa application form.
  • A recognized passport/travel document that is valid for at least two more months from the date you intend to leave Cuba.
  • Two passport-size pictures of yourself.
  • Flight ticket which includes the arrival and departure date.
  • Travel health insurance. The Cuba travel insurance requirements state that the insurance plan must cover sudden illness, accidents, and repatriation for the duration of your stay.
  • Proof of accommodation in Cuba, such as a hotel.

COVID PROTOCOLS W/SUPPLIER 

Each traveler will receive COVID 19 protocols 3-4 weeks prior to travel. Travelers will be responsible to comply with the government arrival requirements. Guides & drivers temperatures will be monitored regularly and they will wear face masks.

Transfer vehicles will be sanitized before each use. Protocols may be updated. Travelers will be notified of any changes. Due to ever-changing policies in regard to COVID 19, It is the responsibility of all Travelers to monitor COVID 19 requirements for the country they are visiting. The cost of all COVID tests are the responsibility of the traveler

TRAVEL INSURANCE

Missing a vacation is bad enough. Losing the money you paid for your vacation is even worse. Trip insurance is therefore recommended. You can purchase travel insurance on your own. eBiz Travel will inquire about your policy information to have on file in the event there is an emergency.

MedicaL insurance

Cuba requires visitors to have non-U.S. medical insurance, which is usually included in airline ticket prices on flights originating in the United States. If you do not have insurance, it can be purchased upon arrival to Cuba at an airport kiosk.  Asistur Medical Insurance is the official company that airlines contract.  Please confirm your coverage with your airline prior to arrival in Cuba and seek additional medical insurance if needed.

PHOTOGRAPHY RELEASE FORM

All travelers must sign a photography release form within 48 hours of registering their trip. Failure to sign will result in the cancellation of your trip. Please review our terms and conditions

Making reservations for this package signifies your acceptance of the below conditions in addition to our general Terms and Conditions.

In Spring 2020, the World Health Organization (WHO) declared the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) a worldwide pandemic. If contracted, this virus has the ability to cause the traveler extreme illness, including, but not limited to, death. Travelers/Passengers understand that they are taking the risk of traveling with the knowledge of the effects of contracting COVID-19. All travelers MUST read and agree with our COVID 19 Waiver of Liability Form. w/in 48 of paying the deposit

eBiz Travel is not liable for any loss due to failure to read and understand this information, as the considerations included in this document may be critical to your upcoming trip. eBiz Travel regular booking conditions and policies also apply. All considerations in this document apply to the person signing.

PASSPORT & VISA
Traveling abroad requires a passport valid for six months beyond travel dates. PASSPORT STAMPS
You are required at least one blank page All visitors to Cuba must be valid for at least two more months from the date you intend to leave Cuba.

ENTRY PERMITS REQUIREMENTS FOR CUBA

When you apply for a Cuba Tourist Card, you must have the following:

  • A Cuba Visa application form.

Additional Information

Lost/Stolen Passports: Please obtain a police report for a lost or stolen passport in the area where the loss or theft occurred. Recently, police have required evidence of U.S. citizenship prior to issuing the report of loss. In these cases, U.S. citizens may visit U.S. Consulate General Ghana to obtain a temporary emergency passport prior to obtaining a report of loss.

Carry a copy of your U.S. passport with you at all times to have proof of identity and U.S. citizenship readily available, if needed

Monthly payments are required to keep your reservations current. Your invoice will clearly note your payment plan. We suggest you put this payment plan on your personal calendar. Your reservation can be automatically canceled, without notice, if you should go more than 30 days after your monthly payment was due. Once your trip is canceled you will be notified via your email. You may reinstate your trip within 7 calendar days of cancellation by paying the full amount past due. If you go past the suppliers final payment due date then please refer to the cancellation pol-icy for this trip.

Missed Payments: If you should go more than 30 days after your monthly payment was due your trip is subject to cancellation. Once your trip is canceled you will be notified via your email. You may reinstate your trip within 7 calendar days of cancellation by paying the full amount past due. If you do not renew your refund will be based on the cancellation policy

– Making reservations for this package signifies your acceptance of our Terms and Conditions.

– If you select the auto bill plan and later cancel this plan you are responsible for making timely payments on your reservation according to the billing plan on your account. If you go past the suppliers final payment due date then please refer to the cancellation policy for this trip. 

– You must ensure your roommate, if applicable, is also making timely monthly payments. Please review our “ROOMMATE POLICY” in our Terms & Conditions.

– If permitted by supplier, there will be a $225 name change fee for international travel, and $250 after final payment date, if permitted by vendor. There may be additional vendor fees applied.

We will do our best to implement any changes to your arrangements you request once they have commenced, but we cannot guarantee this will be possible. In the event of such amendments being made you will be liable for any cancellation charges that may be levied for the services originally booked, and for the cost of booking the revised arrangements and the arrangements themselves. As a basic principle, no refunds will be paid to clients who do not complete a trip. However where we ourselves are able to obtain a refund from hotels or principals for services not used, we will pass this on to you, less any administration charges. If you have taken out travel insurance you may, depending on the details of your policy, be able to recover the cancellation charges.
•    If we change your trip
We start planning the trips we offer many months in advance. Occasionally, we have to make changes to itineraries, hotels and other details both before and after bookings have been con-firmed. While we always endeavor to avoid changes and cancellations, we must reserve the right to do so. However, we will only cancel your confirmed booking after balance due date where you have failed to comply with any requirement of these booking conditions entitling us to cancel (such as paying on time) or where we are forced to do so as a result of “force majeure” as defined herein.

CURRENCY
Cuba’s official currency is the CUP – Peso Cubano. Foreign currencies (especially USD and EUR) are also widely used. Cuban Pesos (CUP) formally have a fixed value of 25 CUP = 1 USD, however, as of August 4, 2022 the government has set the foreign currency exchange rate at 120CUP = 1 USD.
